Dr. John E. Cade
Dr. John E. Cade has been in practice since 1987. He relocated to Las Vegas 13 years ago, in 1997. His special interests are “Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery”, “Foot and Ankle Trauma” and “Diabetic Foot Care and Salvage”. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS). He is active on staff at Mountain View Hospital and several local surgery centers.
Dr. Cade has worked on various medical committees and continues to be a lecturer at several American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) meetings. He also serves on ABPS committees and is an oral examiner at their yearly board certification exams. He recently finished a peer elected term on the ABPS Board of Directors. Dr. Cade shares his knowledge and expertise through lecturing on various podiatry topics at local, state and national meetings. He is also an advisor with Northwest Podiatric Foundation for Education and Research.
Dr. Cade grew up in western Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, earning degrees in Biology and Anthropology. He then attended podiatric medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, graduating as valedictorian. Dr. Cade fulfilled a two year surgical residency at the highly regarded Waldo Residency Training Program at Fifth Avenue Hospital in Seattle, Washington where he continued to practice for 10 years.
Dr. Cade is married with one son. He and his wife enjoy traveling and skiing. He also enjoys going to the gym and epic backpacking trips.
